Approached by Yarra Council, Northside Creative was asked to find a way to design the new Yarra Youth Arts Program Action Plan in a youth orientated way. Together we decided on placing all the content of the action plan into a CD case and Booklet and have it paired with recordings from the Rising High Studios. The creative direction included using photos and artworks from the participants and original graphic design by Northside Creative, this design direction produced a very well received product.
Council developed a new Youth Arts Program Action Plan (2012-2015) to create opportunities for young people to be involved in local art projects. The plan was developed following a review of existing youth arts programs in Yarra. The review was conducted from February to May 2012 and involved consultation with young people, schools, arts organisations and service providers to examine strengths, challenges, and strategic opportunities within Yarra.
